Bocketts Farm Park
The great thing about this fun-filled farm is that it has plenty of indoor attractions as well as outdoor, so itâ€™s a great day out whatever the weather.
At Bocketts Farm ParkÂ there are plenty of animals to meet, along with various activities for the kids to enjoy and take part in. You can enjoy the thrill of a pony ride, drive your first tractor, learn about the process of handling farm animals and witness Bocketts famous pig races!
There are a couple of play barns for the children to enjoy, as well as opportunities to feed the animals. Thereâ€™s also a comfortable barn where refreshments and hot drinks are served along with a gift shop, where you can pick a souvenir from your visit.
If you find yourself travelling to the farm in late October, watch out for the special Halloween events. Thereâ€™s also Christmas events that incorporate festive treats and the enticing aroma of mulled wine!

Bocketts farm is based just south of Leatherhead and you can reach it by jumping on the A246.
Guildford Treasure Trail
Treasure trails have become a huge hit with anyone looking to combine countryside trekking with a test of perseverance, investigation and treasure hunting. They are the ideal activity for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors, especially during the autumn.
TheÂ GuildfordÂ Town and Riverside Treasure TrailÂ is a great opportunity to experience a true sense of adventure. The trail is around half a mile long and you should probably give yourself around one or two hours to complete it.
You make your way across Guildford, walking through the charming streets and alongside the river. If you fancy taking a break at the halfway mark, there are some beautiful spots to relax at the first checkpoint and the finish line, both of which give you a pleasant view of the river. Itâ€™s a good idea to bring along a picnic for the checkpoints, as you can sit on the grass next to the river and enjoy a peaceful lunch.
If youâ€™re wondering where to park, the Millmead House Car Park has plenty of space, although you should be aware that some of the parking areas have a maximum stay of two hours.

If youâ€™re looking for something to keep the kids entertained on a day out during the autumn and winter, thereâ€™s no better place to go in Surrey than the Firing Earth Pottery and Ceramics Centre.
