London’s hidden foodie gems

Having lived in London in the past and still a regular visitor to the ‘big smoke’, I was very excited when Millennium Hotels asked me to take part in their Hidden Gems of London series.

I was asked to share my personal London hidden foodie gems, recommending my favourite restaurant to visit in the city. As a lover of Asian food I had to say House of Ho, a tasty Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Soho, which serves up a delicious pho and a mean shaking beef. Be sure to check out my House of Ho review for more info on its fusion of classic and modern Vietnamese food.

In total 20 bloggers took part, including Kasha from Lines of Escape and Sabina from Girl vs Globe, recommending some amazing looking restaurants for Argentinean steak and South African street food. There are also some mouth-watering pizzerias on the list!

Here’s the infographic in all its foodie glory – we’d love to hear if you’ve visited any of these London restaurants, or if you have your own hidden gem you’d be willing to share…

What a great little compilation – such a cool idea to get bloggers to recommend their favourite foodie finds! My recent highlight (though I’m not sure if it’s hidden as I think their dessert is one of the most Instagrammed of the year!) has been Shackfuyu, Japanese and Asian cuisines and absolutely fantastic. I normally can’t stand no book places so I’ve dragged myself here on 2 occasions now at off peak times and revelled in the bliss of the fabulous food minus the crowds 🙂

I’ve actually not heard of that place, maybe it’s just ‘cos I’m not a full-time Londoner anymore lol. Sounds like my kind of place though, will definitely be looking to check it out on a future visit to the city. Cheers!
