22 of the Best Travel Gifts on Etsy Right Now!
Ah Etsy, how I love you. If you’re after beautiful things you really, really want, but just don’t need, then this is THE place to go! I love visiting the site to look for unique birthday and Christmas gifts, but unsurprisingly always have a ‘want list’ of my own by the time I leave!
There are so many pretty things to covet, especially for travel lovers, so I decided I’d share with you some of my favourite Etsy travel-related finds, that your globetrotting pals are bound to love (or just may look great on your living room wall!).
Travel journals
I have a thing for leather-bound journals. They just make me think of old fashioned explorers journaling their travels across new, foreign lands, or country ladies like Lizzie Bennett sitting in wildflower fields writing in their diaries. They’re beautiful things in their own right, but travel journals are wonderful to go back to and bring back to life memories you may have forgotten from past trips.
Back to my love of Jane Austen, I got super excited when I saw this wonderful Austen travel quote notebook.
Then there’s this wooden journal I discovered, that you can personalise, how lovely is this?!
I particularly loved these kraft notebooks that you can personal for specific people and/or trips. Along with a name or message, you have a cut out of your destination!
Travel fund boxes and bottles
Practical and pretty, money banks are great for letting you actually see how your travel fund is growing – and remind you to put in some more of your cash!
This travel fund box can be personalised, plus decorated mason jars are also really pretty turned into savings jars!
Travel-related wall art
Inspiring travel quotes, personalised pics from your own trips or retro travel posters. I love them all!
Just go travel poster – a steal at just £6!
Then there’s a great selection of of travel quotes if that’s your thing, like this Tolkien quote…
Or perhaps like me you’re a sucker for city prints – I loved these Hong Kong skyscraper and New York images!
Finally, I can’t get enough of vintage posters, and one of my favourites was this Ha Long Bay poster…
Custom maps
I have a giant world map on the wall of my office, with all the places I’ve visited covered in a little gold star. It’s getting a bit old and tatty now, so I’d like something new, but I can’t decide between all these pretty options!
Wooden features also catch my eye too – how about this pallet effect wood map?
My fave has to be this personalised travel map board though. I totally want this, NOW!
Travel bags
Oh how I love a good overnight bag, or twenty!
There’s some gorgeous handmade luggage available on Etsy, such as this leather weekend holdall.
Then for lovers of health and wellness travel, what better than a world map yoga mat bag?
As you may have guessed from our logo we love a good passport stamp design at Ladies What Travel, so this passport stamp clutch jumped right out!
Jewellery & accessories
I thought I’d end with some pretty little pieces that would make lovely little gifts for any travel loving friend…
Faux leather airplane bracelet
A longitude and latitude leather keyring – for those special places
and how cute are these travel charms?
And finally, what better to keep all your jewellery protected than a Harris Tweed jewellery roll (love a bit of tweed!)

I really love the leather-bound travel journal, I’m big on pretty travel journals! Also love the idea of the charm or bracelet with the coordinates of somewhere special. These all make really great gifts. I feel like I need to travel to a few more countries before I can use a travel map to mark off everywhere, but I guess everyone has to start somewhere! #farawayfiles
Keri
Why not start with a smaller area map – Europe or the US perhaps, depending on where you mainly travel?
Katy Clarke
