KiiPix smartphone picture printer – from £33.99
I love retro-style photography gadgets, so the KiiPix totally caught my eye.
Basically, this funky little kit allows you to instantly print retro-style photos straight from your smartphone. Unlike many instant cameras or photo-printing devices, KiiPix does not require batteries, an app or Wi-Fi –to print a photo you just open it up pop your phone on top, press a button and rotate a dial.
Its compact design makes it a good option for travellers who want to take some retro pics during their travels…
Klean Kanteen make a range of plastic-free water bottles and tumblers that are sustainable and long lasting. Made from stainless steel, they come in all manner of colours and design and can keep drinks hot or cold for 20+ hours.
I’ve been using mine on the beach in Thailand to reduce my use of plastic bottles and keep my drinks ice-cold!
You can’t beat entertaining or quirky books as Christmas gifts and this will definitely make any travel loving friend chuckle.
But it’s also a pretty useful guide for travellers, with advice on sanitising water, safely eating exotic foods and avoiding dehydration.
PhoneHug – from £8.95
Great for when you’re out and about, PhoneHug stretches around the top and bottom of your phone, securing it tightly. It connects to a lanyard, so you can easily keep hold of your phone without the fear of dropping, losing, damaging or having it pinched. It’s great for it you want to keep your phone with you but have no pockets or need to use your hands, so a really useful bit of kit for travellers.
I’ll be trying out mine for the first time during my trip to Thailand, so I’ll let you know how it goes!
Travel-themed laptop case
For travel lovers like us, who fit our trips around working full-time, we love things that remind us of holidays even when we’re stuck at a desk working. Unsurprising then, that I love this Coconut Palm Pickers Laptop Sleeve by Postcards Home. Now again this is a bit of a splurge rather than a Secret Santa level gift at £55, but it was so pretty I just had to include it in this gift round-up!
Adult On Board: Travel Games For Grown-Ups – from £7.50
This paperback gives you over 60 different games to try out while you travel. Word games, guessing games, memory games, and games to play looking out of the window, the collection includes games that you can play with family and friends or alone if travelling solo. Even better, almost all of the games can be played with no equipment at all.
El Camino bracelet and charms – from £8.49
I discovered the El Camino bracelet a few years ago and instantly fell in love. Start off with one of these festival-style, durable bracelets and personalise them with your own travel story by collecting travel ‘steps’. These are basically charms inscribed with the name of a country or city. You can also buy customised steps with your own text on them and I also love the colourful ‘region’ steps that break down the continents into shades of bright turquoise and deep red.
I may need to buy a second one soon, as I’m filling the first right up!
Traveller Necklace – from £15
This gorgeous traveler necklace from This Material Culture is the perfect accessory for anyone who loves holidays, globetrotting and discovering the world. It features a gorgeous little bronze plane charm, a little world and a beautiful turquoise crystal.
This company based in Liverpool handmakes pretty items of jewelry from necklaces through to bracelets and earrings. They have themed collections including one entitled ’round the world’ which also features this beautiful Bollywood bangle set.
Trip voucher – from however much you want to spend!
If the person you’re shopping for is all about experiences rather than items, why not give them a voucher towards their next adventure? Loads of companies offer vouchers, including Much Better Adventures, who offer everything from weekends kayaking the Norwegian fjords to weeks hiking in the Himalayas.
Packing cubes – from £7.99
These little cubes revolutionise packing! They’re not only great for saving space, they’re also really helpful with finding your clothes when you get to your destination – no longer will your fave bikini get lost at the bottom of a messy case!
Personalised passport covers
Personalised passport covers can be a great gift for the person that has almost everything. There’s tonnes of different designs on offer, at a wide range of prices, but I particularly like Hurley Burley’s luxury leather travel document holder. At £29 it’s not cheap, I have to admit, but I reckon it’ll last and last…
Backpacker: The Ultimate Travel Game – from £9.99
The makers of Backpacker sell it as the only game about travelling the world that is small enough to take with you!
In this game you try to outwit your opponents to be the player who returns home with the most photos. Visit different countries, enjoy beaches, trekking, wildlife and culture, meet other travellers and get good and bad advice, whilst trying to avoid getting sick or missing your plane!
Pin for later!
