In the latest in our occasional series of photo essays, we take a look at life in the Gambia through the eyes (and lens) of the amazing photographer Mei Catherall. Memories from The Gambia I first went to Gambia in 2009. Just a holiday. It was there that I realised I could actually do something useful. Inspired by a local school, Jamisa Lower Basic in Brikama, I started www.Dance2Learn.org and in 2010 was able to get water and electricity plumbed into the school.
