About Ladies What Travel

Hello, we’re Emma and Keri – two 30-something friends who love to travel.

We both work full-time, so created this travel blog for people like us – fans of travel, adventure and food, who want to make the most of a limited amount of free time and annual leave.

We spend a lot of our time exploring everything the UK has to offer, but we also love to head further afield whenever we get the chance, regularly taking mini-breaks in Europe alongside the occasional long-haul holiday.

Since we both love food, our trips are often planned around the best places to eat – particularly if there’s a good afternoon tea nearby!

Here at Ladies What Travel, the team covers everything from staying local or planning a weekend away to jetting off for your big annual holiday, including stories and advice on:

  • UK day trips
  • Mini-breaks, weekends away and road trips
  • Top things to do at our favourite destinations
  • International travel
  • Hotel, restaurant and attraction reviews
  • Travel tips and advice

Emma is a freelancer who lives to travel and try out new and unusual things. She loves travelling overland, especially by train, and her husband is a car fanatic so they go on plenty of road trips together.

Her holidays are usually a mixture of activities, visiting historical sights and relaxation. She happily makes herself at home in both tents and luxury hotels and, as well as longer holidays, she’s also a big fan of day trips and mini-breaks.

She deals with much of the behind-the-scenes bits of the site and also runs the Ladies What Travel Facebook page . You can also find her over on her own twitter account .
